The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a government-funded program that supports eligible families with the cost of essential dental care for children aged 0 to 17 years. If your child qualifies, they can access up to $1,052 worth of dental services over two consecutive calendar years—fully covered by Medicare and bulk billed at Appin Dental Surgery. Eligibility for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is automatically assessed each calendar year by Services Australia, so there’s no need to apply. To qualify, your child must meet the following criteria:
